Wolfville & Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada

This beautiful area, only one hour from Halifax and the Robert Stanfield International Airport, is the agricultural heartland of eastern Canada, a thriving wine region and the home of Acadia University, one of Canada's pre-eminent educational institutions. A rich cultural landscape infuses the region and its people with a respect for the riches around us. No place could be more perfect as the home of Devour!

The ancestral home of the Acadian people and where Louisiana's Cajuns originate, this has been a melting pot for hundreds of years so no better place to celebrate food, wine and film. With restaurants galore, a bustling downtown with galleries, great retail locations and beautiful inns, Wolfville is a wonderful place to spend a week exploring all that Devour! and the area have to offer.

Wolfville is one of the main urban areas in Kings County, along with Kentville, New Minas, Berwick, Canning and other lovely smaller villages and hamlets. This is apple country, but also the bread basket of Nova Scotia, with farmers' markets, interesting side roads and galleries, beautiful vistas and wonderful opportunities to explore.
