 Filmmakers Pete Muller and Kelly Liscomb go beyond the lens to explore the
  power of storytelling to connect audiences with fishing communities\, env
 ironmental challenges\, and our changing seas\, and ultimately inspire con

  stand-up comedian\, actor\, author\, and broadcaster. He is the host of t
 he hit CBC Radio comedy show Laugh Out Loud\, and for the past eight years
  has hosted Canada Reads—CBC’s “Battle of the Books”. A television
  and film actor\, Hassan was recently nominated for the Canadian Screen Aw
 ards for his roles in two shows: Run The Burbs and the Peabody Award-winni
 ng Sort Of. In 2023\, Hassan began touring his one-man show\, Does This Ta
 ste Funny?\, based on his decade in the food industry. His comedic memoir\
 , Is There Bacon in Heaven?\, was described by Rick Mercer as “perhaps t
 he funniest and most heartfelt Canadian memoir yet.” @standupali\n\nPete
  Muller\, Director\, Bucks Harbor (Opening Gala)\n\nPete Muller is an Amer
 ican visual artist and documentarian. He uses photography\, film\, and oth
 er media to examine issues related to masculinities\, conflict\, and human
  ecology. Since 2017\, he has been a Storytelling Fellow at the National G
 eographic Society. From 2005 to 2020\, he was based in the Middle East and
  Africa\, exploring conflict dynamics in post-colonial states. He has won 
 premier awards from World Press Photo\, Pictures of the Year International
 \, the Overseas Press Club\, TIME Magazine\, and others. In 2022\, he won 
 the Emmy Award for Best Documentary for his role as Co-Producer of The Fir
 st Wave. His photographic work has been exhibited in solo and group shows 
 in London\, New York City\, Geneva\, Cape Town\, and elsewhere. Muller als
 o served as the Cyrus Vance Visiting Professor of International Relations 
 at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. @pete_k_muller \n\nKelly Liscom
 b\, Director\, Bite to Bite (Spotlight Gala)\n\nKelly Lipscomb is an award
 -winning producer\, author\, writer-director\, and owner of Widespread Med
 ia—a creative advertising agency and production company he founded in Au
 stin\, Texas\, in 2012. His television credits include work for HBO\, Vice
  Media\, Discovery\, MTV Networks\, Paramount Pictures\, and others. Lipsc
 omb created and executive-produced the limited TV series American Daredevi
 ls for the History Channel. The first feature film he produced\, Homestate
 \, won the 2016 Austin Film Festival Audience Award. His recent commercial
  ad campaign for Austin-based Nulo Pet Food was named one of the top three
  commercials of the 2024 Olympics by ADWEEK. Bite to Bite is his first fea
 ture-length documentary film.
