The Hopping Penguins
For more than four decades, The Hopping Penguins have been bringing their unmistakable “Penguin magic” to dance floors across Canada. Formed in Nova Scotia in 1982, the band built its reputation on high-energy ska, reggae, funk and soul, touring the country extensively. With roots in two-tone ska and a repertoire made for dancing, the Penguins have always had one mission: throw a great party. Decades, countless shows and a few knee replacements later, their infectious energy, musicianship and sense of fun remain as strong as ever.
