Craig graduated in 1997 from the Culinary Institute of Canada and worked in Switzerland, London, and New York until 2001 when he opened Chives Canadian Bistro, one of the original farm-to-table restaurants in Nova Scotia. Chives operated for 19 years until July 2020. Craig now owns and operates 2 Doors Down Food and Wine in downtown Halifax and has a second location in Dartmouth. He has written four celebrated cookbooks and contributed to over a dozen other Maritime culinary publications. He has been a regular contributor on CBC Radio since 2007.
