Treasures of the Bayous (Trésors des bayous)
To the south, in beautiful Louisiana, live the descendants of a people who came from the north; their new home is surrounded by the Bayous. The original inhabitants fed on small animals, berries, roots, and fish. The newcomers had to adapt and discovered new culinary treasures in crawfish, turtles, catfish, oysters, shrimp, crabs, and frogs. But the natural treasures of the Bayous are the Cajuns themselves.
