Marilyn, a lobster fisher, aspires to be a captain like her father. Encouraged by fellow women captains, she pursues her dream until tragedy strikes. Her husband’s sudden death leaves her a single mother, challenging her aspirations. Marilyn must now navigate her new reality and reevaluate her dreams of becoming a captain.
