The world is starting to take notice of this great little festival in Kings County, NS so we are taking it out to them
“Expanding awareness of this unique convergence of cinema, media arts and gastronomy is an important thrust for the Devour! team this year” says executive director Michael Howell. “Getting noticed on the world stage as a ‘MUST-ATTEND’ event is key to growth. Also, enlarging our mandate to embrace more forms of expression and more educational opportunities for students of all ages is also an opportunity for us. We will focus on Food Literacy this year as part of our programming and significantly expanded school screenings and sessions for Nova Scotian youth.
“Devour! really has something for everyone,” says Devour! managing director, Lia Rinaldo. “Nova Scotia is a place for discovery, and there is so much to experience at this year’s Devour! Whether it’s stealing away for one evening of theatre, or revelling in a few days of festivities, come and let us program your palate!”
