Craig graduated in 1997 from the Culinary Institute of Canada and worked in Switzerland, London, and New York, until 2001 when he opened Chives Canadian Bistro—one of the original farm-to-table restaurants in Nova Scotia. Chives operated for 19 years until July 2020. Craig now owns and operates 2 Doors Down Food and Wine in downtown Halifax and has a second location in Dartmouth. He has written four celebrated cookbooks and contributed to over a dozen other Maritime culinary publications. He has been a regular contributor on CBC Radio since 2007.
