WOLFVILLE, NS (February 3, 2014) – Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit entries to the 4th Devour! The Food Film Fest. The festival, which runs November 12-16, 2014 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia will offer the very best culinary productions from around the world including dramas, documentaries, and animation. Film submissions can be made via Withoutabox until May 30, 2014 (extended deadline June 27, 2014).
“Devour! offers an exciting collision of film and food,” says Lia Rinaldo, Devour! festival managing director. “While the festival is fast becoming one of the most anticipated film events in the region, we remain dedicated to showcasing food on film that educates and entertains.”
Devour! The Food Film Fest has evolved into one of the most creative food, film and wine mash ups that highlights the province’s growing vibrant creative arts and agricultural communities. The festival takes place in the culinary epicenter of Nova Scotia, and in 2013, Wolfville was named “Canada’s secret foodie destination” by the Hollywood Reporter.
The 2014 line up will showcase more than 30 film screenings from around the world, gala receptions, farmer’s market events, panels, wine tours, tastings & chef demos, producer visits and all-out collaborative dinners celebrating the very best of local and international food and wine.
