The 4th Annual Devour! The Beach Food Film Fest Welcomes Food Network Chef Lynn Crawford and Lora Kirk to the Bahamas

November 21, 2023, Wolfville, NS, Devour! The Food Film Fest is bringing Food Network Celebrity Chefs and best selling authors Lynne Crawford and Lora Kirk to its 4th annual Devour! The Beach at the Green Turtle Club in Abaco Bahamas on February 1 -5, 2024. This four-day event includes Gala dinners, cooking classes, food-inspired films, taco parties, barbeques and island excursions.

Executive Director and Green Turtle Club, the Bahamas, Food Network stars Lynn Crawford & Lora Kirk (Ruby Watchco, Toronto, Canada), Dario Tomaselli (George Brown College, Toronto & Alma, Italy) Clayton Carnes (Cholo Soy Cocina, West Palm Beach, FL), Lauren Marshall (Real Fake Meats, Halifax, Canada) and host Lia Rinaldo, Managing Director of Devour! for food, film and fun Bahamian-style.

1:00 PM-3:00 PM: Chowder Competition- taste and decide who wins this friendly but fierce competition of the 2024 best chowder
6:30 PM-10:00 PM: Chefs & Shorts Gala Film Dinner- Our premier event … 5 guest chefs create a 5-course meal paired with five wines and inspired by five short films screened as each course is presented, paired and served.

Sunday, February 4

8:30 AM-10:30 AM: Bloody Mary Bar Brunch
1:00 PM-4:00 PM: Taco Beach Party by Clay Carnes with all guest chefs participating at the Bluff House Beach Bar
3:00 PM-7:00 PM: Guests on their own
7:00 PM-9:00 PM: Italian Night- Pasta, pizza and a screening of Big Night with Stanley Tucci. The menu includes baked pasta, carbonara, a meat and a vegan dish, two types of salad and Tiramisu for dessert.

Monday, February 5 – OPTIONAL ADD-ON (25 people max, first come, first served)

10:00 AM-3:00 PM: Optional US $200: EXCURSION DAY – Join guests and chefs for boating, swimming, feeding stingrays and sharks on a deserted island, indulging in freshly caught seafood and cooked lunch picnic alongside rum punches.Note: All activities occur at or near the Green Turtle Club except the Taco Party, which takes place at Bluff House.
